Artist Statement

Don’t Look, See., was created from the concept that most people find comfort in taking life, and all it has to offer, at face value. This piece encapsulates how perception can easily be manipulated as well. When we look past our preconceived constructs of our world, we have the ability see what is truly valuable.

I began creating art in different forms at fourteen as a hobby that I was naturally inclined to. I have now developed a relationship with art where it is a catharsis and a source of aggravation. I use my creations to portray spiritual and societal questions that are unanswerable.
