Doug Nagel and Sandi Rabas

Montana State University Billings assistant professor of voice, Doug Nagel, and pianist, Sandi Rabas will perform classical art songs on Oct. 11 during a public performance at MSUB. 

 

 

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Douglas Nagel, MSU Billings assistant professor of voice and native Montanan, will perform a solo voice recital on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall on the university campus of MSU Billings. The performance is free and open to the public.


Nagel, bass, will sing classical art songs from composers such as Brahms, Ravel, Händel, Finzi, Henderson and more. Pianist Sandi Rabas will accompany Nagel.

 

Nagel has twice sat on the National Endowment of the Arts grant committee, and has judged for the National Council Auditions of the Metropolitan Opera. He has recently joined the Board of Directors at Nova Center and is Montana’s state president of The National Association of Teachers of Singing. He is in his sixth year of teaching at MSUB.
