The event is free and open to the public and will include scholarly works that are as diverse as the fields of study they represent, from physics, biology, chemistry and creative writing.

“The conference celebrates the results of what goes on every day in our studios, laboratories and classrooms,” Honors Program Director David Craig said. “There will presentations from all areas of campus—City College students displaying research on biofuels, art students presenting their work in the juried show and our Goldwater nominees sharing the projects that foretell their careers as future scientists.”

Chancellor Mark Nook will kick-off the conference at 1 p.m. with opening remarks at MSUB’s four-year campus in the Library building, room 148.

About 100 undergraduate students will present works, which will be held between the Liberal Arts and Library buildings from 1 to 4 p.m.
