Kelly Deiling

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Kelly Marie Deiling, a soprano vocal performance major at Montana State University Billings, will present her junior recital on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall at the university campus. The event is free and open to the public.

 

Deiling graduated from Skyview High School in Billings. She studies vocal performance with MSUB Assistant Professor Douglas Nagel. She is the daughter of Thomas and Jeanine Deiling.

 

Deiling has been an active participant in school choirs since she was in middle school and has participated in 10 productions with the Rimrock Opera Company. In February 2015, she will sing the role of Mrs. Gleaton in the NOVA opera production of "Susannah".

 

Pianist Gail Briceño and baritone Marshall Pluhar will accompany Deiling during her performance. The program will consist of works by Verdi, Brahms, Bach, Debussy and more.
