The performance will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m., in Cisel Recital Hall on MSUB’s university campus, 1500 University Dr. 

 

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Katelynn Leora Meyer, a mezzo-soprano vocal performance major at Montana State University Billings, will present her junior recital on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall. The program is free and open to the public.

 

Upward Bound group of students

Meyer, a student of Doug Nagel, is also majoring in theater. She has been involved in many productions including “Les Miserables” and “Spamalot” at Billings Studio Theater. She has sung in “Carmina Burana” and “Video Games Live” with the Billings Symphony at the Alberta Bair Theater. She will sing the role in February of Mrs. Ott in “Susannah” at Nova Center for the Performing Arts.

 

Pianist Gail Briceño will accompany Meyer during the recital.

 

A native to Billings, Meyer is the daughter of Leonard and Mary Meyer.
