MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Brock Boender, a vocal performance major at Montana State University Billings, will be present his Junior Recital on Saturday, Mar. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall at the University campus. The event is free and open to the public.

 

Brock Boender

Raised in Worden, Mont., Boender began studying music at the age of 5.  He received dual high school and college credit for the coursework he completed through the University Connections program. Brock is a student of Douglas Nagel.

 

Brock has sung in Billings with the Rimrock Opera Company in The Crucible and Aïda.  Brock has performed as a cantor at St. Bernard in the Billings Heights for the last 7 years.  He has also been a cantor during mass at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral this year. He is a senator in the MSU Billings Student Government and sings in the University Choir as well as the Chamber Singers. Brock is the Son of Roger and Jacqueline Boender of Worden. 

 

Please join Brock for his Junior vocal recital which will be featuring works sung in six languages by Schubert, Franck, Mozart, Lully, and more.
