MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — While the ground may still be covered in ice and snow, thoughts at Montana State University Billings have turned to summer.

Summer registration for a plethora of classes at MSU Billings — offered by on site and online to meet the busy schedules of working adults and students — opened on Monday. Summer session begins May 10 and includes a variety of formats over eight weeks, 10 weeks or the full semester.

Encouraged to “Try on Summer at MSU Billings,” students can use the summer session to catch up on some general education requirements or make advancement on a degree. A broad array of offerings ranging from art to biology to history to Spanish to business writing will be available. Educators can also use the summer session to gain new knowledge on topics ranging from curriculum design to educational technology.

Students may also be eligible for Pell grants for the summer months, depending on financial aid eligibility.
