What do you love about Montana?

I love all the outdoor recreations, from hiking, to swimming in the lakes and rivers in the summers and going on ATV rides through the mountains. There is never a lack of adventure when living in Montana, just got to go out and find it!

My best advice to future Yellowjackets would be:

My best advice for our future Yellowjackets is to get involved, whether that is working on campus, participating in clubs, sports, study groups, going to planned activities, etc.. This will help you create your community and support system that will follow you through your college career and possibly beyond. On top of getting involved, simply asking for help when things may not be clear. This could apply to questions about classes, financial aid, academics, anything, and everything. A curious mind is a growing mind!

Favorite place to hang out in Billings?

I am not sure I could pick just one place in Billings to be my favorite, however I absolutely love hiking around Zimmerman Park with my dog. You can get the best views and is absolutely breath taking in the fall with the leaves changing colors. You can choose to hike miles, or simply just walk out to the edge and take in the views.

What do you love most about MSU Billings?

The community and small class sizes. MSUB is small enough that you are known as who you are. Professors get to know you and can help you as the individual rather than being just a number in the lecture hall. Everyone is so kind and helpful and is pushing for you, as the student to succeed.
