Introduction to All Grain Beer Brewing
Saturday, August 5, 9-1:30 PM and Tuesday, August 22, 6-7:30 PM

Want to learn how to home brew beer? In this class you’ll learn the steps to all-grain home brewing. Participants will assist in making two types of beer from start to finish under the watchful eye of an experienced brewer. Then, approximately two weeks later participants will have an opportunity to taste their creations.
- How the mashing process works, including sparging and runoff.
- Boiling wort, hop additions, and cooling the wort.
- Yeast and fermentation.
Anyone over 21 that wants to learn how to brew beer using grain.

Paul Pope is the Vice President of the Rimrock Brewers Guild and instructor of the Brewing Process Technology and Capstone courses in the MSUB Craft Brewing and Fermentation program. He is an avid brewer with over 10 years of experience.
