Coach Pfeifer on Bunker: “I was really excited that Travis chose to finish his career as a Yellowjacket. He brings so many qualities to our program. He is a prototype small forward that can score and rebound. His leadership and experience are invaluable. Travis has demonstrated through his actions and behavior he can be one of our programs total package players, i.e. perform on and off the court.”
Wyoming (2007-08): Played in 27 games…had a career game against Chadron State (Dec. 31, 2007) with nine points, six rebounds and five assists.
College of Southern Idaho (2006-07): Averaged 7.4 point and 6.1 rebounds per game despite missing over half the season due to a stress fracture in his foot…was named team captain…helped his team to a record of 30-7 and a fourth place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament.
Dixie State (2005-06): Averaged 9.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game…led the Rebels to the NJCAA Region 18 Championship game…shot 79.4% from the free throw line.
Beaver High School: Earned four letters in basketball…as a senior in 2001-02, he averaged 16 points, six rebounds and 2.5 assists per game…led his team to a 22-3 record and the Utah Class 2A state championship…was named the Class 2A state player of the year.
