MSUB Women’s Cross
Country Team Earns USTFCCCA GPA Award
BILLINGS, Mont. – The Montana State Billings
women’s cross country team earned the 2007 United States Track &
Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II GPA
Award as announced by the USTFCCCA. The Yellowjackets had
a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.48 for the fall
semester.
MSUB, along with seven other Great Northwest
Athletic Conference schools all earned the prestigious honor.
To qualify, teams have to have at least a 3.0 team cumulative
GPA and competed in the NCAA Regional Championships.
Of the eight GNAC schools represented, the
Yellowjackets were third. Seattle Pacific led all Division
II schools with a 3.80 GPA. Northwest Nazarene had a 3.58
cumulative, followed by MSUB. Central Washington also had
a 3.48 grade-point average.
