MSUB Women’s Soccer Ranked Tenth
BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana
State Billings is ranked tenth in the first Far West Region
poll issued by the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America.
The NSCAA poll is not used
to determine postseason seeding by the NCAA. The NCAA
Women’s Soccer Committee conducts its own regional polls for
determining postseason qualification.
The Yellowjackets are one
of four Great Northwest Athletic Conference teams ranked in
the Far West Region by the NSCAA this week. Seattle Pacific
is second, Seattle University is third, and Western
Washington is fifth. Unbeaten UC San Diego holds the top
spot in the region.
The Yellowjackets open
GNAC play this week by hosting Western Oregon on Thursday
and Saint Martin’s on Sunday. Thursday’s game kicks off at
4 p.m., and Sunday’s starts at 11 a.m.
