Seventh at RMAC Women’s Golf Championships
Results
SILVER CITY, N.M. – The Montana State
Billings women’s golf team finished the 2008 Rocky Mountain
Athletic Conference Championships in seventh with a 36-hole total
of 751. Host
Western New Mexico won the conference championship with a 638
score on the par 72, 5,806-yard Silver City Golf Course.
Western Washington (not a RMAC golf school) was second (641), followed
by Mesa State (676), Fort Hayes State (708) and Nebraska-Kearney
(709) rounded out the top five. WNMU’s Tina Bickford took medalist honors with a 36-hole
score of 150. Teammate Erika Willis finished second with a 158 score.
The Yellowjackets were
led by Lindsey Erickson who fired a two-round score of 180 and
finished tied for 26th. Amy Nordeen was 30th with carding a 183 score,
followed by Jessica Boyer who shot a 197 and finished 46th. Nicole Salsbury had a
201 score and a 47th-place finish, followed by Karrie
Brack with a 203 score and she finished 47th.
