Wins Four Events at Montana State Invitational
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Nathan Diede posted a
provisional qualifying time for next month’s Great Northwest
Athletic Conference championship meet in the men’s 100 meters to
account for one of the Yellowjackets’ four individual victories
Saturday at the Montana State Invitational.
Diede won the 100 meters with a time of
11.50. Also earning
victories for MSUB were Sarah Jackson in the women’s 800, Ryan
Ceynar in the men’s 10,000 and Deshawn Lewis in the men’s long
jump.
“It was a great meet Saturday,” head coach
David Coppock said.
“We got some good wins and our sprinters looked really good.
We finally had a nice day to compete.”
The Yellowjackets have this week off from
competition, but will conclude the regular season April 26 at
the University of Montana Invitational prior to the GNAC
championships the following week at Central Washington. |
