Yellowjackets Lead CSM
Invitational After Round One
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Montana State Billings
men’s golf team holds a one stroke lead at the Colorado School
of Mines Spring Invitational after the opening round of play on
Sunday at the par 72, 7601-yard Bear Creek Golf Course.
The Yellowjackets, who scored a team score of
322 (+34), are followed by Colorado Christian (323), Northern
Colorado (328). Host, Colorado School of Mines (346) is in
sixth place.

Michael Konrad is currently tied for third after carding a 77 in
the opening round. Junior Jeff Allen is tied for eighth
with an 81. Tyler Nicholas and Kruise Kemp each tallied an
82 and are tied for 11th. Mike Watson shot an
87 and is tied for 25th.
Colorado Christian’s Clifton Sebra leads the
event after carding a round-low 73. Denver’s Jon Lopez,
playing as an individual, is second with a 76.
The eight-team field will complete the
tournament Monday with the final two rounds being held at the
Red Rocks Country Club (par 71) in Morrison, Colo.
