MSUB Hires Cheer Coach
BILLINGS, Mont. – Dr. Gary Gray, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, announced Friday that Sherlynn Stewart has been hired as the Montana State Billings head cheer coach.
A native of Miles City, Mont., Stewart, her husband, and their two daughters now live in Shepherd. Stewart has worked in Billings for the past seven years, and for the past two years she has worked as the Community Director for the March of Dimes covering most of Eastern Montana and will continue to do so while coaching the Yellowjackets.
“Dance has been a part of my life since I was three,” said Stewart. “I want to incorporate more dance and add new techniques into the program at MSUB and get involvement from both men and women in the program. Cheer has so much to offer and I am looking forward to getting started.”
If you would like more information on the Yellowjacket cheer team, Stewart can be contacted via email at mzonesty@yahoo.com.
