Jacket Runners at Montana State (9/17/06)

BOZEMAN, MT-  The Montana State-Billings men’s and women’s cross country teams took part in the 27^th Annual Montana State Invitational in Bozeman on Saturday.

In the men’s five mile race Vance Twitchel and Seth Wold of Utah State took first and second respectively with Twitchel winning in a time of 25:08.  The Jackets’ Matt Roseberry (Chinook, MT) paced the men finishing 46^th recording a time of 28:33.  Following Roseberry was Jarred Rensvold (Wolf Point, MT) with 29:03. 

On the women’s side, Lindsey Anderson of Weber State won the three mile race in a time of 16:54.  Allie Brosh of Montana was second with a time of 17:06 followed by Jennifer Twitchell of Utah State with 17:17.  Crystal Roseberry (Chinook, MT) was the top finisher for the Jackets in 50^th place.  Roseberry recorded a time of 20:14.  Cierra Dornfeld (Woodbury, MN) was 52^nd with a 20:22.

The Yellowjacket harriers take to the course again next weekend in Dickinson, North Dakota at the Dickinson State Invitational.
