MSUB Cross-Country Teams Honored (2/2/07)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana
State-Billings men’s and women’s cross-country teams
have been named NCAA Division II All-Academic Teams
by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches
Association. It is the twelfth-consecutive year
that the Yellowjacket teams have made the list.
For schools to qualify as a
USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, the student-athletes on
their NCAA squad list must have a cumulative grade
point average of 3.0 or higher. There were 92
women’s teams in Division II that were named
All-Academic Teams. University of Tampa had the
nation’s highest GPA at 3.774. MSU Billings ranked
25th with a 3.54. On the men’s side, there were 57
teams nationwide that qualified. Concordia
University (St. Paul) had the highest GPA at 3.560.
The Yellowjacket men ranked 30th at 3.160.
The members of the MSUB women’s
cross-country team are Kristy Burns (Livingston,
MT), Colleen Dalimata (Columbia Falls, MT), Cierra
Dornfield (Woodbury, MN), Erin Gannon (Yankton, SD), Kym Island (Columbia Falls, MT), Kisa Kron (Livingston, MT), Teri Lea McCormick (Hardin, MT), Erin Mueller (Billings, MT), Tiffany Piplica (Riverton, WY), Crystal Roseberry (Chinook, MT), and Bridgett Voorhees (Great Falls, MT). The members of the Yellowjacket
men’s team are Abram Hagstrom (Billings, MT), Joe Kragt (Worden, MT), Jarred Rensvold (Wolf Point, MT), Matt Roseberry (Chinook, MT), and Andy Zoeller (Billings, MT). |
