Hot Streak Continues for MSUB Volleyball (9/11/06)

ODESSA, TX - The Montana State-Billings volleyball team downed Texas - Permian Basin 3-0 Monday to win their fourth straight match.  The win put the Jackets at 9-3 overall.

Taking the first three games in route to their match victory, the Yellowjackets balanced their attack with three players notching double-digits in kills.  Alicia Cazemier (Vauxhall, AB) led the way with 12 kills, followed by Jessica Bratton (Casper, WY) and Ali Watson (Calgary, AB) who both finished with 10.  The Jackets took the first game 30-27 with a .167 team hitting percentage, and then followed with a blistering team percentage of .318 in the second game, winning 30-26. The Jackets closed out the match against the Falcons with another 30-27 win. 

Senior Natalie Bills (Provo, UT) handed out 39 assists, with Nicole Kruse (Huntley, MT) picking up a team-high 18 digs.  The Yellowjackets continue their road trip on Tuesday, again taking on Texas - Permian Basin.
