MSUB Softball Games Cancelled
(4/5/07)
BILLINGS, MT – Thursday’s scheduled
Heartland Conference doubleheader between Montana
State-Billings and St. Mary’s University has been
cancelled because of snow. The teams are scheduled to
play a doubleheader Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. A
determination on whether those games can be played will
be made Friday morning.
The Yellowjackets (18-20 overall,
6-5 HLC) have now had five of their last six home games
cancelled because of wet spring weather. Prior to that,
MSUB had not had a home game cancelled since the 2002
season, the Jackets’ first year in Cenex Stadium.
St. Mary’s (31-14, 8-3) is
currently in second place in the Heartland Conference
standings. They are followed by MSU Billings and
Incarnate Word (16-22, 6-6). The Yellowjackets are
scheduled to host Incarnate Word on April 13 and 14 to
close out the conference schedule. St. Edward’s is in
the driver’s seat for the top seed in the Heartland
Conference tournament (April 26-28) with an 11-1 league
mark. |
