Yellowjacket Tennis Falls to Warriors (2/10/07)
 

LEWISTON, ID – The Montana State-Billings men’s and women’s tennis teams were downed by Lewis and Clark State College Friday, February 9 in Lewiston, Idaho.  The Yellowjacket men fell 9-0, while the Lady Jackets fell 8-1.

In men’s doubles action, the Yellowjackets best showing came in the number one position where the team of Gabriel Diaz and Titus Stempenwicz fell 8-4 to the Warriors.  In singles play, Diaz and Stempenwicz forced a tiebreaker where they eventually downed.

Heidi Lehman battled to the tiebreaker win in singles play to give the Lady Jackets their lone win of the match.  The doubles team of Lehman and Brianne Roney posted the Jackets best showing falling 8-4.
