(4/27/07)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana
State-Billings men’s soccer coach Dan McNally announced Friday
that Kyle Moriarty has signed to play for the Yellowjackets next
season. Moriarty will graduate in June from Bozeman High
School.
“Kyle is one of the top soccer
recruits out of Montana this year,” said McNally. “Kyle is
technically strong and has the versatility to play in defense or
midfield. I’m looking forward to watching Kyle develop into a
quality college soccer player.”
Moriarty is a 6-foot-1
defender who lettered two years for the Hawks. He was a two-time
all-conference selection. As a senior, Moriarty earned
all-state honors and was named the Eastern Conference player of
the year. The Hawks’ team MVP, Moriarty led Bozeman HS to a
runner up finish at the state tournament.
The Yellowjackets are coming
off a 5-11-2 season in their final year in the Heartland
Conference. They will join the highly competitive Great
Northwest Athletic Conference beginning with the 2007 season.
