Jacket Soccer Face Alumni (8/17/06)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana
State-Billings men’s and women’s soccer teams are set to play
the Yellowjacket Alumni Saturday at College of Technology
Field. The women will kick off at 1:00 p.m. while the men’s
game is set to start at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
Both the men and women begin
their regular season on the road with the Lady Jackets opening
against Colorado School of Mines on August 24 followed by Fort
Lewis and Eastern New Mexico on August 26 and 27 respectively.
The Yellowjacket men’s team kicks off their season against
Colorado State-Pueblo on August 24. The men will then take on
Colorado Christian August 26 and Regis University August 28.
Labor Day Weekend will be a
busy one at the COT Field as the men open their home schedule
against Heartland Conference opponents Incarnate Word on Friday,
September 1 and St. Mary’s on Sunday, September 3. The Lady
Jackets will hold the Fifth Annual MSU Billings Cup Sponsored by
Thrifty Car Rental hosting University of Texas-Permian Basin on
Saturday, September 2 and University of Mary on Sunday,
September 3. There will also be two neutral women’s games
