Jackets’ Charles Named to NSCAA All-Midwest Second Team

Charles was recently named to the NSCAA Division II
All-Midwest Region second team. Charles, along with two other
players from the Heartland Conference were selected to the
second team.
Charles,
a freshman forward from Chiswell, England led the Yellowjackets’
offense scoring seven of the team’s 18 goals, had two assists
and a team-leading 16 points. Charles finished the season in a
tie for seventh in Yellowjacket history for goals scored in a
single season and is tied for eighth in points per
game
(0.89). Charles ranked in the top four in three categories in
the Heartland Conference. Ranking first for shots per game (3.39),
and fourth in both goals scored (7) and points (16), Charles
also picked up Heartland Co-Freshman of the Year honors and was
named to the All-Conference first team.
