MSUB Men’s Soccer Adds Montanan (2/15/07)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State –
Billings men’s soccer coach Dan McNally announced the signing of
a top Montana player this week. Joining the Yellowjackets on
the 2007 squad list will be Chris Andre of Billings.
Andre will graduate from
Senior High School in May where he was a three-year letterman
for the Broncs. He was a member of the 2004 Montana AA High
School State Championship team as a sophomore where he was named
Rookie of the Year. In his junior and senior seasons, he scored
15 goals to lead the team in scoring as a starting midfielder.
Andre was twice named the Broncs’ offensive MVP and was a 2007
Gatorade Player of the Year finalist.
“Chris has the potential to be
an excellent NCAA Division II player,” said McNally. “He
combines first class technical ability with a good understanding
of the game. I think he will have a big impact on our offensive
production throughout his career. Signing Chris demonstrates
how hard we are working to attract the top soccer talent in
Montana.” |
