Jackets’ McKeever Named to
All-Region Team (11/16/06)

Greg
McKeever has been named to the Daktronics Midwest Region
First Team. McKeever, along with two other players from the
Heartland Conference were selected to the first team.
McKeever,
a junior defender from Kirkland, Washington led the Jackets’
defense in setting numerous defensive records over the course of
the season. The team finished the season ranked first in school
history for goals against average (1.40) and for shutouts in a
single season (4). McKeever’s two goals and two assists led the
Jackets to a 5-11-2 record.
McKeever has played in and
started every game since his career started in 2004 and is
currently tied for seventh in school history for career assists
with four.
Sports information directors
from within the region nominate and select the Daktronics
all-region teams. First-team members move onto the national
ballot and can earn All-American honors. Daktronics, with
