Women’s Soccer Earns
Academic Award (1/11/06)
BILLINGS, MT - Grades matter
to the Montana State-Billings women’s soccer team. The team
earned its fourth straight NSCAA academic honor posting a
combined 3.38 grade point average for the 2004-2005 school
year. The Lady Jackets were picked from among all division I,
II and III NCAA universities, as well as, NAIA institutions.
“An award like this is just as
important as winning the conference championship. Our
student-athletes have always put academics ahead of athletics,
so it is nice to see them rewarded for their efforts,” said
Yellowjacket women’s head coach Don Trentham. “As a coach, I am
very proud of them.” |
