Jackets and Alumni Combine for 226 Points (12/03/05)

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State University-Billings men’s basketball team continued their streak with a 132-94 win over the Alumni Saturday night at Alterowitz Gymnasium.  The Yellowjackets, currently 2-0, will return to regular season play when they host cross town rival Rocky Mountain College on December 8.  Tip off is set for 7 p.m.

Yellowjacket Cameron Munoz (Chino, CA) and the Alumni’s Willy Davison made 7 3-pointers and 29 points apiece leading all players.  Sophomore Jay Jamieson (Big Sandy, MT) knocked down eight 3-pointers and 24 points.  The Yellowjackets made 27 3-pointers as a team with five Yellowjackets finishing in double figures for scoring.  Moritz Wohlers (Wolfenbuttel, Germany) went seven for 11 from the line and netted 16 points.

The Alumni team, led by Willy Davison, also had five players scoring in double figures.  Nate Strong put down 19 points before fouling out.  Teammates Mark Hamilton and Joe Trottier scored 15 and 14 points respectively.
