Yellowjacket Soccer Adds Two (6/5/06)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana
State-Billings men’s soccer coach Dan McNally announced this
week that two more players have signed to play for the
Yellowjackets next season. Kellen Murray of Kalispell, Mont.,
and Colby Vossler of Cheyenne, Wyo., will join the Jackets when
fall practice starts in August.
Murray is a 2006 graduate of
Flathead High School. He lettered two years in soccer for the
Braves, earning all-state honors as a senior. One of the top
scorers in the state last season, Murray helped Flathead HS to
the 2006 state title. The Braves were runners up at the state
tourney in 2005.
Vossler is transferring to
MSU Billings from Laramie County Community College where he
played one year. He also attended Regis University for one
year. A 2004 graduate of East High School in Cheyenne, Vossler
lettered four times in soccer. He earned all-conference
recognition four times and all-state honors as a senior. East
HS played in the state championship game all four years, winning
in 2001 and 2004.
Murray and Vossler become the
eighth and ninth recruits to join the Yellowjackets this year.
MSU Billings opens the 2006 season the last weekend in August
with three games in Colorado. |
