Yellowjackets and Cougars Snowed Out Again (3/20/06)
BILLINGS, MT – For the second time this
season, the Montana State-Billings and Colorado Christian baseball
teams have been snowed out. Tuesday’s scheduled doubleheader
between the two schools in Billings was cancelled on Monday
because of winter conditions. The Jackets and Cougars were
scheduled to open the season against each other in February in
Denver, but those games were also called off because of snow.
MSU Billings will next play at Oklahoma
Panhandle State on March 24 and 25. Those doubleheaders will be
part of an eight-game Heartland Conference road trip. The Jackets
will play at Lincoln University on March 29 and 30.
Following the conference swing to Oklahoma
and Missouri, the Yellowjackets will close out the season with
20-straight home games. They will host games at Cobb Field every
Friday and Saturday in April as well as the first Friday and
Saturday in May. |
