Yellowjacket Baseball Taking Fall Clinic Applications (9/16/05)

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State-Billings baseball team is currently accepting applications for its four fall youth clinics that will be held in October.  Yellowjacket head coach Chris Brown, assistant coach Mike Benke, and numerous current Yellowjacket players will instruct the clinics that will cover topics such as fielding, hitting, bunting, pitching, catching, base running, and fundamentals.

The clinics are broken into two age groups on two different dates.  The Hitting and Fielding clinics will be held Saturday, October 15; the Pitching and Catching clinics will be Saturday, October 22.  Clinics for players ages 10-13 will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  Clinics for players ages 14-18 will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  All sessions will be held at Pirtz Field behind Rimrock Mall.

The cost of each clinic is $20 per player.  The cost is $35 for players who wish to attend both clinics for their age group.  For more information or to register, contact Coach Brown at 657-2394 or cbrown@msubillings.edu.  Registration forms can also be downloaded at here.  A maximum of 30 players will be accepted for each clinic on a first come, first served basis.
