Ball Kids Needed for Yellowjacket Soccer Games (Aug. 23, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State
University-Billings men’s and women’s soccer teams are searching
for youth soccer players interested in being ball kids for the
2004 season.
Four ball kids are needed for each home
soccer game. Ball kids run the sidelines during the game to
ensure that a new ball is ready for play if the ball is kicked out
of bounds. Games last approximately two hours, with ball kids
arriving about one half hour prior to kickoff to receive
instructions from officials.
Any interested children ages 10 and over, or
their parents, can sign up to be a Yellowjacket ball kid by
calling Don Trentham, Director of Soccer Operations, at 657-2373.
