Milne Ranked In NCAA Top 10 for Rebounds, Blocks (Jan. 13, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings senior Robyn Milne is ranked ninth by the NCAA for both rebounds per game and blocked shots per game
in this week’s national statistical rankings. Based on games
through January 9, the 6-foot-3 center from Richey, MT, was
averaging 11.0 rebounds and 3.3 blocked shots per game.
Milne also ranks 30th in the
nation for field goal percentage at 56.0. Teammate Shannon Harvey, a sophomore guard from Billings, is 38th nationally for 3-point field goal percentage at 40.8.
As a team, the Lady Yellowjackets (11-3 after
Wednesday’s win over Montana Tech) are ranked in the top 35 in six
different statistical categories. They are 18th for
both field goal percentage defense (34.1) and rebound margin
(+9.1), 27th for scoring margin (+13.5) 30th for field goal percentage (44.5), 31st for free throw
percentage (74.5), and 34th for scoring defense (56.4).
MSU Billings is off until January 18 and 19
when the Jackets host Western New Mexico. Tuesday’s game will
start at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday’s tip off will be at 7:00. |
