Lady Jackets Ranked in Six NCAA Stats Categories (Jan. 4, 2005) 

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State-Billings women’s basketball team is ranked in the top 30 by the NCAA in six statistical team categories in the first rankings of the year.  Individually, senior Robyn Milne (Richey, MT) is ranked in the top 25 in three different categories.

The Yellowjackets (10-2) rank between 20^th and 29^th in the six team categories.  They are 20^th for field goal percentage defense (33.7), 21^st for scoring margin (+16.7) and rebound margin (+9.3), 24^th for field goal percentage (45.6), 27^th for scoring defense (55.4), and 29^th for free throw percentage (9.3).

Milne, a 6-foot-3 center, is tenth in the nation for blocked shots per game, averaging 3.2.  She is also 19^th for field goal percentage (59.0) and 23^rd for rebounds per game (10.3).  Guard Shannon Harvey (So., Billings, MT) ranks 34^th for 3-point field goal percentage (42.4).

The Yellowjackets next play on January 6 when they host St. Martin’s at Alterowitz Gym.  Tip off is 7:00 p.m.
