Lady Jackets Ranked in Six NCAA Stats Categories (Jan. 4, 2005)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State-Billings
women’s basketball team is ranked in the top 30 by the NCAA in six
statistical team categories in the first rankings of the year.
Individually, senior Robyn Milne (Richey, MT) is ranked in the top 25 in three
different categories.
The Yellowjackets (10-2) rank between 20th and 29th in the six team categories. They are 20th for field goal percentage defense (33.7), 21st for
scoring margin (+16.7) and rebound margin (+9.3), 24th for field goal percentage (45.6), 27th for scoring
defense (55.4), and 29th for free throw percentage
(9.3).
Milne, a 6-foot-3 center, is tenth in the
nation for blocked shots per game, averaging 3.2. She is also 19th for field goal percentage (59.0) and 23rd for rebounds
per game (10.3). Guard Shannon Harvey (So., Billings, MT) ranks 34th for
3-point field goal percentage (42.4).
The Yellowjackets next play on January 6 when
they host St. Martin’s at Alterowitz Gym. Tip off is 7:00 p.m. |
