BILLINGS, MT – The PacWest Conference
co-leaders kept up the heat on the Yellowjackets for the second
night in a row, winning 3-0. This loss drops the Lady Jackets to
10-8 on the season and 3-4 in the conference. Hawaii Pacific is
13-2 overall and 6-1 in the PacWest.
The Yellowjackets fell to the Sea Warriors
30-25, 30-23 and 30-21. Flavia Brakling of Hawaii Pacific had
fourteen kills on the night with eleven digs. Teammate Barbara
Martin had four service aces against the Lady Jackets.
The Yellowjackets were plagued with service
errors, having 10 for the game. Senior Olivia
Munro (Sr., OH, Toronto, Canada) had fifteen kills and
seventeen digs on the night. Teammate Andrea
Donahue (Sr., MB, Whitefish, MT), second in the PacWest
Conference standings for hitting percentage, had fourteen kills and
a hitting percentage of .455 for the match. Overall hitting
percentage for the Sea Warriors was .331 to the Lady Jackets' .182.
