Munro Named PacWest Player of the Week (Nov.
2, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT – Montana State-Billings
volleyball player Olivia Munro was named the Pacific West
Conference player of the week on Monday. The senior from Toronto,
Ontario, led the Yellowjackets in a two-match split with 21st-ranked
Chaminade University last week.
Munro averaged 3.75 kills and 4.75 digs per
game against the Silverswords. She knocked
down 30 kills—15 each night—and added 38 digs. For the season,
Munro ranks fifth in the PacWest for kills per game (4.28) and
third for digs per game (4.46).
Entering the final three matches of her
career, Munro ranks in the top ten in school history in five
career statistical categories. She holds the school record for
kills at 1,235 and is second for career digs with 1,298. She is
also in the top ten for career service aces, career kills per
game, and career digs per game. |
