Garcia, Marnin Earn Jackets only Win at Montana (Oct. 11, 2004)

MISSOULA, MT – The Yellowjackets’ Jose Garcia and John Marnin collected the only win for Montana State-Billings at the University of Montana Invitational tennis tournament last weekend. 

Garcia and Marnin defeated Seth Banks and Uriah Jones of the University of Idaho, 8-5, in the first round of the doubles bracket.  They lost out to Montana’s Colin Mascall and Gus Treyz in the quarterfinals, 8-4.  Mascall and Treyz went on to win the doubles title.

The Yellowjacket men next play at the MSU-Bozeman tournament on October 16 and 17.  The women host the Bobcats on October 30.
