Jacket Softball Washed Out for Second Day (Mar. 26, 2005)
KANEOHE, HI – Montana State-Billings
and Hawaii Pacific had their PacWest softball doubleheader
rained out for the second straight day on Saturday. The
games, which were rescheduled from Friday, will not be
made up.
The Sea Warriors (22-8, 7-3) swept
the Yellowjackets (13-7, 0-2) on Thursday, winning 4-3 and
10-3. Those were the Jackets’ only conference games so
far this season. Hawaii-Hilo and Hawaii Pacific sit atop
the conference at 9-1 and 7-3 respectively.
MSU Billings is scheduled to play at
BYU-Hawaii on Monday and Tuesday. BYU-Hawaii also had its
games against Western New Mexico rained out on Friday and
Saturday. |
