Yellowjackets, Sea Warriors Rained Out (Mar. 25, 2005) 

KANEOHE, HI – Friday’s scheduled PacWest softball doubleheader between Montana State-Billings and Hawaii Pacific was cancelled due to rain.  The games were rescheduled for Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. and noon if the field is able to dry.

The Sea Warriors swept the Yellowjackets on Thursday, winning 4-3 and 10-3.  Those wins kept HPU in second place in the PacWest at 22-8 overall and 7-3 in the PacWest.  The Jackets lost consecutive games for just the second time this year to fall to 13-7 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Following Saturday’s games, the Yellowjackets have four games remaining in Hawaii.  They will play at BYU-Hawaii on Monday and Tuesday.
