BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State-Billings
men’s soccer team will try to bounce back from consecutive
losses on Thursday when the Yellowjackets host University of
Mary at 2:00 p.m. The Jackets will also be trying to end the
home season on a positive note on Senior Day for their six
seniors.
MSU Billings dropped two games at its own
tournament last weekend, losing 2-0 to Si Tanka and 2-1 to
Grand Canyon. Marcus Riley (Jr., Kalispell, MT) scored the
Yellowjackets’ only goal of the weekend, his second of the
year.

up the home schedule against the Marauders on Thursday and
play their final two games on the road in Colorado the
following Sunday and Monday.

September 18 by a score of 2-1. Riley and Thomas Pertuit
(Sr., Billings, MT) scored for the Yellowjackets. Pertuit
scored the game-winner in the 84th minute, heading
in Colin Adams’s corner kick. Pertuit leads the team with 11
goals and 24 points this season.
Thursday’s game against the Marauders
will be the final home game for seniors Lucas Sanchez (Park
City, UT), Jeff Marsich (Laurel, MT), Kyle Bales (Cody, WY),
Pertuit, and Brian Palmer (Laramie, WY). Senior Robbie Thimm
(Park City, UT) will miss the game after receiving a red card
against Grand Canyon on Sunday.
