MSU Billings Hires Men’s Soccer Coach (Apr.

BILLINGS, MT – Montana
State-Billings Athletics Director Dr. Gary Gray announced
Monday that Dan McNally has been hired as the head men’s
soccer coach. McNally will take over immediately and plans to
be in Billings by Friday to hold a weekend training camp for
current players.
A native of England,
McNally was most recently an assistant coach at Nova
Southeastern University in Davie, Fla. He was a full time
assistant for four years during which Nova went 54-17-8. His
duties included recruiting, scheduling, and fundraising in
addition to his on field responsibilities. NSU, an NCAA
Division II program, was ranked 15th in the nation
last season and placed second in the Sunshine State
Conference.
McNally’s coaching career
also includes one season as an assistant at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University and four seasons as an assistant at
Mainland High School, both in Daytona Beach, Fla. He
graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2000 after a four year playing
career. In 1999 McNally was an NAIA honorable mention
All-American and earned first team all-region and first team
all-conference honors. |
