MSU Billings Scholarship Winners Announced (Apr. 21, 2005)
BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings
Foundation Athletics Scholarship Committee has announced
the recipients of its athletics scholarships for the
2005-2006 school year. Eight different student-athletes
will receive a total of $7,750 in endowed scholarship
money next year.
Caitlin Luehr, Tiffany Piplica,
Victor Sargent, and Kelsey Vinnedge each received a $1,000
scholarship from the Paul and Patti Gunville Athletic
Scholarship Endowment. Luehr is a sophomore softball
player from Kalispell, Mont. Piplica is a sophomore
cross-country runner from Riverton, Wyo. Sargent is a
sophomore soccer player from Billings. Vinnedge is a
sophomore soccer player from Great Falls, Mont.
Abby Bennett, Janica Larsen and
Nicole Salsbery each received a $1,000 Frances S. Barker
Endowed Scholarship. Bennet is a freshman soccer player
from Livingston, Mont. Larsen is a freshman soccer player
from Salt Lake City, UT. Salsbery is a freshman golfer
from Malta, Mont.
Tanner Rienhart received the $1,000
Dick Edwards Memorial Endowed Scholarship. Rienhart is
sophomore cheerleader from Dickinson, ND.
Diana Davis received the $1,000
Athletic Endowed Scholarship. Davis is a junior
cross-country runner from Kalispell, Mont.
Christy Wankel received the $750
Softball Endowed Scholarship. Wankel is a junior from
Great Falls, Mont.
Jay Jamieson received the $1,000
Men’s Basketball Endowed Scholarship. Jamieson is a
freshman from Big Sandy, Mont. |
