Coca-Cola Yellowjacket Scholarship Golf Tourney Set for June 2

BILLINGS, MT – Individual and team registrations are currently being taken for the 2005 Coca-Cola Yellowjacket Scholarship Golf Tournament hosted by MSU Billings Athletics.  The tournament will be held June 2 at The Briarwood Country Club.

The annual golf tournament raises money for student-athlete scholarships at MSU Billings with all proceeds applied to student-athlete scholarships.  For the second year Coca-Cola of Billings is the title sponsor of the tournament and will provide the refreshments and tournament souvenirs. 

The four person scramble begins with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start at The Briarwood on Thursday, June 2.  The Briarwood is the home course of the Yellowjacket men’s and women’s golf teams.  Following the round there will be a barbeque and award ceremony in The Briarwood clubhouse.

Team entry fees are $500 for four person teams.  The price includes greens fees for four people, two riding carts, barbeque tickets for four, free beverages throughout the tournament, and tournament souvenirs.  Individuals can enter to play for $125, and businesses or individuals can buy hole sponsorships for $100.
