Freshman Season (2003): Played
in all 91 of the team's games as a true
freshman...spent half the season at setter and the
other half at Libero...handed out a career-high 43
assists against Humboldt State...ranked third in the
Pacific West Conference, averaging 3.63 digs per
game...recorded double figures for digs in 17 of 26
matches, including the final seven matches of the
season...set career-highs with 25 digs twice in the
final three weeks of the season...3.63 digs per game
ranks eleventh in school history for a single
season.
At Kahuku HS: Four-year letter winner in volleyball, three as a
setter and one as a defensive specialist...helped
Kahuku to the OIA Championship in 2001 and the
Hawaii State Championship in 2002...named second
team All-OIA in 2001...was also a three-year letter
winner in basketball...an honor roll student all
four years of high school...as a senior, was a
dancer at the Polynesian Cultural Center, one of
Oahu's most popular cultural tourist attractions.
