Yellowjacket Invitational Cross-Country Meet this Weekend (October 24, 2002)

BILLINGS, MT – MSU Billings will host the annual Yellowjacket Invitational Cross-Country meet on Saturday, October 26 at Riverfront Park.  The public fun run will start at 9:00 a.m. with the college race beginning at 10:00.

It will be the final race for the Yellowjacket runners before the West Region Championships, which will be held on November 9.

Competing for the Lady Yellowjackets this weekend will be Chelsea Lynnes, Ellen Swogger, Anjel Hoff, Kelly Long, Mandy Brown, Tracie Overberg, Kendra Bebee, Colleen Knudson, and Abbie Strutz.  The Lady Jackets finished second overall last week at the Black Hills Invitational with Lynnes and Swogger each finishing in the top five.

The Yellowjacket men’s team will have Brian Fosjord, Ryan Archibald and Ben McNelley competing.  McNelley returned to competition last week after a month of military reserve training.
