Division II NCAA Tournament Selection Show to be
Broadcast on the Web (March 5, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT –
Lady Yellowjacket Basketball fans will be able to
view the 2003 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball
Championship selection show on the internet this
Sunday, March 9. The selection show is being
broadcast on the web for the third consecutive year,
and the Yellowjackets are expected to be selected to
the tournament for the second straight year.
Anyone with
internet access and the minimum computer
requirements will be able to view the selection show
at www.ncaachampionships.com. A PC or Macintosh
computer with a Pentium chip or better and 32 MB RAM
is required. Also needed will be a sound card,
speakers, 28 kbps or higher modem, Windows Media
Player, and Windows 95 or better operating system.
Windows Media Player can be downloaded for free on
the web. Yellowjacket fans who have listened to the
live radio broadcasts on the web this season will
already be equipped for the show.
The women’s
championship selection show will originate from the
NCAA national office in Indianapolis and will begin
at approximately 8:00 p.m. Mountain time on Sunday,
March 9. A link to the show will also be on the
Yellowjackets’ home page at www.msubillings.edu/athletics.
