MSU Billings Signs
Two Wyoming Soccer Players (May 29, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT – MSU Billings head men’s soccer
coach Dough Seigle has announced the signing of two Cody, Wyoming
soccer players to national letters of intent. Shaun Hansen and
Brian Hunter, both 2003 graduates of Cody High School, have signed
to compete for the Yellowjackets next fall.
Cody HS advanced to the quarterfinals of the
recent Wyoming state tournament before losing 1-0 to Laramie.
Hansen is a defender and Hunter is a goalkeeper who helped CHS
hold its opponents scoreless through the regional tournament.
“Shaun and Brian played well at the state
tournament,” said Seigle. “They were a part of a strong defense
that came together in the regional tournament with big shutouts.”
Hunter was a three-year starter at goalkeeper
for Cody HS and earned all-conference and all-region honors as a
junior. In his senior season he posted a .875 goals against
average. He lettered four years in soccer and two in football.
Hansen was a four-year letter winner in soccer and a two-year
letter winner in football. |
