Yellowjackets Take on First-Place
BYU-Hawaii (February 24, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings men's basketball
team will try for its 11th-straight win on Tuesday
night when the Yellowjackets face BYU-Hawaii in Laie,
Hawaii. BYUH is currently in first place in
the PacWest with an 8-2 conference mark. MSUB
is tied for second place with Hawaii-Hilo.
The
Yellowjackets and Seasiders will square off Tuesday
and Thursday at 7:30 p.m. HST, 10:30 p.m. MST.
Both games can be heard on News Radio 970 AM and on
the internet at www.msubillings.edu/athletics.
The
Seasiders were ranked third in the West Region last
week, while the Yellowjackets were tenth.
MSU Billings will likely need to win at least one of
the two games at BYUH to have a chance of qualifying
for the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a
row. BYU-Hawaii will be trying to move to
within one game of clinching the PacWest title. |
