Yellowjacket Golf Tournament to be Rescheduled (March 28, 2003)
BILLINGS, MT – The April 6 MSUB
golf scramble at Pryor Creek Golf Club has been
postponed because of a men’s event in Colorado that
was moved to the same weekend. The four-person
scramble, a fundraiser for the men’s and women’s
golf teams, will be rescheduled for a later date to
be determined.
The Yellowjacket men’s team
will be competing at Northern Colorado in Greeley on
April 6-8. That tournament originally conflicted
with another event the Jackets were participating
in, but was moved recently allowing the team to add
one more event to its 2003 schedule.
Four-person teams can enter the
scramble for $160, or individuals can play for $40
and be placed with a team. Each four-person team
will be joined by one Yellowjacket golfer to create
a five-person scramble.
There will be 18 flag prizes up
for grabs as well as raffle items. All entries also
include a hamburger barbeque following the
completion of play. Teams and individuals can
reserve their entries in the tournament by calling
the Pryor Creek Pro Shop at 348-3900.
