Yellowjacket Athletics to Hold Scholarship Golf Tournament at Pryor Creek (May 30, 2003)

BILLINGS, MT – The Yellowjacket Athletics Department will hold its annual scholarship golf tournament on Thursday, June 5 at Pryor Creek Golf Club.  Proceeds from the four-person scramble, which will begin with a 12:30 shotgun start, are used to fund athletic scholarships.

Registration for the Yellowjacket Golf Tournament has already reached an all-time high with 26 teams signed up to play at one of the area’s top courses.  Last year 22 teams teed off at Pryor Creek for the second largest field in the tournament’s history. 

Winning teams of the 2003 Yellowjacket Golf Tournament (gross and net) will receive championship plaques as well as free rounds of golf at area courses.  There will also be 18 flag prizes awarded along with numerous door prizes. 

The entry fee for the tournament is $500 per team or $125 per individual entry.  Team entry fees include greens fees for four golfers, two golf carts, four tickets to the post-tournament barbeque, free beverages during the tournament, tournament souvenirs, and one $100 Yellowjacket Flyaway raffle ticket.
